Recommended Dosing for ANTARA®

Patient Type Recommended Initial Daily Dose With or Without Meals
Patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia should take Antara 90mg once daily

With primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia

90 mg capsule once daily
Patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia should take 30mg to 90mg of Antara once daily

With severe hypertriglyceridemia*

30 mg to 90 mg once daily
Patients with mild to moderately impared renal function should take Antara 30mg once daily

With mild to moderately impaired renal function

30 mg once daily§

*As studied in two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials of 147 hypertriglyceridemic patients.

Dosage should be individualized according to patient response and adjusted, if necessary.

Should be avoided in patients with severe renal impairment.

§Dose should be increased only after evaluation of effects on renal function and lipid levels.
